Two days ago, Zynga announced the closure of its mobile game Star Wars Commander, which will officially shut down June 12th.

The in-game message reads:

“We didn’t come to this decision lightly, we love this game as much as you. It’s been an honor to have been a part of this community and thank you for playing!”

According to pocketgamer.com, in-game activity and communication between players had slowed down recently. Passionate fans of the game have already started a hashtag campaign – #SaveSWCommander.
