See You Later–Never Farewell

A little over a month ago, we all found out that our very own, Ben Walke, will be leaving the Community Team at EA. Ben, who came on board to the Star Wars team about 2 years ago, has been very vocal on Twitter with everything regarding Battlefront II: engaging with fans, relaying information that they are working on, and teasing new heroes. All around he has been the beacon of light in the Battlefront community for many of us who recently came back on board with the game.

To see him go is bittersweet, however, he’s not leaving all of it behind. As I dove into more of the thread it seems he was giving a promotion to be a Producer along with Dice. Who knows, we may see his name come across some games in our near future. The story is still developing, but as of now, there has been no mention of his successor and now with the state of the world, a lot of things have been significantly slowing down. As I gain more on this story, I will definitely keep you all up to date with who our new community leader will be. As of now, Ben is still in the role until such a time where he passes the torch.

Thank you all and of course, May the Force be with you!
