Many casting leaks for season two of The Mandalorian have found their way to fans over the past couple of months. Several known characters seem to be making their way to the show, and actor Simon Pegg told Collider he would love to play a certain bounty hunter.
“If Taika and Favreau decide to bring Dengar into The Mandalorian…I have some form in the past having played him in Star Wars Battlefront and The Clone Wars…so, just saying!”

Given his history with the character, there’s a fair chance he could portray Dengar in live action. Pegg cites the casting of Katie Sackhoff as Bo-Katan as his ray of hope.
Pegg also voiced Unkar Plutt in The Force Awakens, so he’s no stranger to the Star Wars universe.
Of course, if this happened, we probably wouldn’t see it until the third season of Mandalorian, or even later, since the second season has finished filming.
